ARTISTIC VOICES

A Night of Friendship, Process, and Creative Exchange

Last week at the gallery, we hosted a wonderful evening with Dan Welden and Helen A. Harrison, whose conversation offered a warm and engaging look at both friendship and artistic practice. They spoke about how they first met, the shared creative ground that has connected them over the years, and the recent work they each brought to the table: Dan’s paintings and Helen’s new book.

The event highlighted the richness of artistic dialogue — the way one maker’s vision can resonate with another’s, even across different mediums. Dan spoke about his painting practice, while Helen discussed A Fair Corpse, her latest mystery novel, giving guests a chance to hear directly from both artists about the ideas and experiences behind their work.
It was an evening that felt both intimate and expansive: part conversation, part celebration, and part reminder of how creativity thrives in community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a thoughtful and lively evening!
