Who Dunit?

Helen A. Harrison presents A Willful Corpse

Gallerist Jude Amsel introduces renown historian Helen A Harrison

Maju was thrilled to warmly welcome Helen A. Harrison for an engaging presentation of her latest book, A Willful Corpse.

Throughout her distinguished career as the director of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton, New York, Helen A. Harrison began crafting intriguing mystery novels set against the vibrant backdrop of the New York art world. As a widely published author of numerous books and insightful articles on art, she skillfully weaves fictional stories where her characters interact seamlessly with real-life individuals drawn from her extensive background. This includes her experience as a New York Times art critic, NPR arts commentator, museum curator, and accomplished practicing artist. Her second novel, An Accidental Corpse, received critical acclaim, winning the prestigious 2019 Benjamin Franklin Gold Award for Mystery & Suspense.

On June 26th, she artfully refrained from revealing any spoilers during her talk, leaving Maju’s guests enriched with new knowledge but still with plenty of suspense to savor the big mystery: Who dunit?
